Oscilloscopes use digital technology

By Staff -- Plant Engineering, 2/1/1999

TDS3000 digital phosphor oscilloscopes provide 500-MHz bandwidth, 4 channel operation, and 5 gigasample/sec sample rate. Units are compact, battery operated, and weigh 7 lb. They display, store, and analyze in real-time, using three dimensions of signal information: amplitude, time, and distribution of amplitude over time.
