Integrated control station operates on networks

ISA EXPO/98, the International Conference, Exhibition, and Training Program for Advancing Measurement and Control Technologies, Products, and Services, was held recently in Houston, TX; and served as the introduction site for a number of new products. Here is a sampling of items making their debut at the show.

Operator Control Station is a logic controller with integrated operator interface and networking. A single software package allows users to configure OI screens, develop ladder logic, and configure the communication network. A PID auto-tuning feature provides an advanced set of algorithms for automatically fine tuning PID loops in process control systems.
