Application server handles industrial infrastructure

ISA EXPO/98, the International Conference, Exhibition, and Training Program for Advancing Measurement and Control Technologies, Products, and Services, was held recently in Houston, TX; and served as the introduction site for a number of new products. Here is a sampling of items making their debut at the show.

Java Embedded Server is a small footprint network server that enables real-time deployment and installation of applications to remote embedded devices, and provides the foundation for embedded intelligent systems in industrial infrastructures. A scalable architecture makes it well suited for network-enabled metering and measurement equipment.
