Solutions to tomorrow's problems

I greatly enjoyed reading Thomas J. Malott's article, "Creating your own workforce: When you need skilled workers, will you be able to find them?" in the Management Side of Engineering section of the July 1998 issue.

Mr. Malott wrote eloquently about a problem that is looming large for American industry and businesses. His article went beyond simply calling our attention to tomorrow's problems by also offering some very practical solutions. -- James J.
