The APAX-5000 series programmable automation controller
(PAC) product line integrates control, information processing and networking in
a single control system with a unique scalable dual controller architecture. The
PAC series includes controllers, I/O modules, backplanes and power modules with
a user-friendly I/O design. The dual controller architecture separates HMI and
soft logic I/O tasks and manages I/O processing backup automatically. I/O
modules can be either local or remote through the dual Ethernet bus backplane,
which offers topology flexibility.
