Powerdrawer automated, vertical-lift storage system uses conventional drawers with a new twist: drawers are automatically delivered to a single access point or workstation. The modular drawers are brought at waist level, eliminating bending and stretching. A single system which is 40-ft tall, occupies 48 sq ft, and stores the same amount of material as 100 sections of 7-ft-tall conventional shelving.
