MHIA affiliate presents awards

College Industry Council on Material Handling Education announced the winners of the 2007 Outstanding Material Handling & Logistics Content Award Competition on October 2, during the Material Handling Industry of America’s 2007 Annual Membership Meetings. CICMHE developed the bi-annual competition to recognize and encourage development of outstanding material handling and logistics related content created in the previous two calendar years. The results:

1st Place
FKI Logistex: RFID for The Real World - Challenges and Opportunities in the Warehouse & Distribution Center Environment

2nd Place
Modern Materials Handling Magazine: Unitizing Basics

3rd Place
Cisco-Eagle: 15 Ways Material Handling Can Make Your Operation Safer

Honorable Mention
Schafer Systems International: Making a Case For Choosing a Standard Sized Tote First When Designing a Semi-Automated or Fully Automated Warehouse System
